Gouda is one of the pearls of the Dutch cheese tradition. Freshly brewed Gouda beer best suits its taste when paired with middle-aged cheese fruit Riesling or Chenin Blanc. Elderly Gouda is a perfect complement to deep-flavored wines such as rich Merlot or Shiraz. This cheese can be used fried, sliced, cubed or melted. It is also served as a table and dessert cheese. Gouda can be mixed with various natural herbs, spices and nuts to enhance the flavor.
